Afraid of the sun, Lilidaps grab any small plant they can find and use it for shade.
When the plant has grown enough, Lilidap evolves into Dewdap and clings to it for life. It will never leave the shade of its plant unless thoroughly provoked.
When exposed to a leaf stone, a large lotus blossoms on Dewdap’s lilypad. The plant is no longer able to hold itself up, and the Dewdap plucks it out of the ground, evolving into Salamandap. No longer afraid of the sun, a Salamandap takes up exploration and wanders about happily.
My portraitdex entry! I figured it was a perfect opportunity for some more pixel art practice, and I had a blast with it!
